What a beautiful day we had at St Peter’s Cathedral as 13 of our fantastic pupils received the Sacrament of Confirmation 🙏. It was a truly special celebration of faith and community.
A heartfelt thank you to our Head Girl, Caoimhe, for signing so beautifully, to Fr Martin Graham for guiding us on our faith journey and to James and Rebecca, Directors of Music at the Cathedral, for enriching our celebration through music.
We also want to express our sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff who gave up their Sunday afternoon to support our pupils — your commitment means so much.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our young people 🌈

We were very lucky to have Immersive Experiences join us yesterday with a mobile planetarium 🪐. All pupils got a session inside the dome to enjoy either a spaced themed video or a sensory session. We all had a great time 🌈

🍎 We’re hungry for learning in S3! 🐛
Pupils took part in a sensory storytelling session inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar, using visual supports to make choices and share their thoughts. Check us out 🌈

J3 enjoyed a lovely morning with Sinead from Fresh Little Minds for their SUNRISE graduation on Friday. We hosted a special Assembly and fundraiser. So far we have raised £208. Thanks to everyone who donated to this wonderful charity. J3 were presented with their own certificates and received their very own Bamber as a special surprise. Franceen was awarded the Educators Leadership accreditation for the delivery of Fresh Little Minds SUNRISE programme 🌈

J3 are hosting a special Assembly on Friday to tell all our friends all about the Fresh Little Minds Sunrise Programme. Fresh Minds Education is a charity that helps to support Emotional wellbeing in schools and J3 have been very lucky to participate in the programme this year. Please join us by wearing your brightest colours to school on Friday. All funds raised will go direct to Fresh Minds Education 🌈

A Big Congratulations to Caoimhe and Caiden from our leavers department who performed in two evening shows at the Lyric Theatre in Rogue Encounters showcase of Marvellous Humans. What a fantastic show, thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended 🌈

Easter egg hunts + communication practice = a brilliant morning in S3! Pupils found eggs and described the surprise objects inside, using Makaton and core boards to support their communication. An egg‑cellent effort from everyone! 🐣

✨ Service of Light Celebration ✨
Yesterday we gathered as a school community to celebrate our children who will be making their Confirmation this year with a beautiful Service of Light.
A heartfelt thank you to Fr. Martin Graham from St. Peter’s Cathedral for leading the service with such warmth and guidance. We are also grateful to Caoilfhionn Jones for accompanying members of our school choir, who generously gave up their time to help make the evening even more special for their peers.
Thank you to our families and staff for joining us and supporting our young people on this meaningful part of their faith journey.

Hi folks, L5 are raising funds for planters for the outside our new building. Taughmonagh Convenience Store have kindly donated a jar of sweets and we are asking staff and pupils to guess how many sweets are in the jar for 50p a guess. We would appreciate it if you could send in money tomorrow to be in with a chance to win the jar of sweets 🍬. We are just hoping the pupils manage to keep the jar away from our sweet toothed staff until the competition is over 🌈

L5 have had a very busy time last week. They were keeping fit in PE on Monday and then a trip to Taughmonagh gym on Wednesday. They celebrated Sophie’s 18th birthday with a trip to the cinema on Tuesday with their friends from S4 to see Hooper. There was also a trip to McDonalds and a lovely birthday cake from French Village, thanks to Sophie’s mum 🎂 🌈
