Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am delighted to inform you that, in collaboration with MR Sports, we have arranged our very first Summer Camp for the children of St Matthew’s Primary School.

Please find attached a leaflet containing full details about the camp, which will take place from Monday 10th August to Friday 14th August 2026 in St Matthew’s Primary School.

We are thrilled to be offering this exciting opportunity for the first time and hope it will be the beginning of an annual summer programme. We look forward to expanding this provision further in the summer of 2027.

As places are limited, they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you would like your child to attend, I would encourage you to register as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

We have worked closely with MR Sports to keep the cost of the camp as affordable as possible. I would also like to reassure parents that the school does not make any financial profit from this camp. Our sole aim is to provide children with an enjoyable, active and engaging experience during the summer holidays, giving them the opportunity to develop new skills, build confidence, make friendships and have fun in a safe and familiar environment.

I am confident that many of our pupils will thoroughly enjoy this opportunity and I hope it will prove to be a memorable week for all who attend.

As we wrapped up another fantastic school year, our final assembly on Friday was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible achievements of our pupils.

A huge congratulations to all of our Pupils of the Week and Pupils of the Year, whose hard work, kindness and dedication have shone throughout the year. We were also delighted to recognise recipients of our Principal's Superstar Award, celebrating those who have gone above and beyond, and our 100% Attendance Award, acknowledging the commitment and resilience of pupils who achieved perfect attendance.

We are so proud of every pupil for their achievements, growth and contributions to our school community this year. Thank you to our staff, families and wider school community for your continued support.
