⚽🏆 A fantastic day for our football team at the Galactico Soccer Tournament in Avoniel!
The children played brilliantly throughout the day, showing great skill, teamwork and determination to reach the semi-finals. Unfortunately, their tournament ended in a narrow penalty shootout defeat, but they should be incredibly proud of their achievement.
A huge well done to all the players for representing our school so well. You were a credit to the school! 👏⚽

We are incredibly proud of our Primary 4 children who participated in the Corpus Christi Procession at St Matthew’s Church last Sunday.
The children represented our school with reverence, respect and enthusiasm as they joined the parish community in this special celebration of faith. Their excellent behaviour and prayerful participation were a credit to themselves, their families and St Matthew’s PS.
Thank you to our parents and families for your support, and to everyone involved in making the procession such a meaningful occasion.
Well done, P4! 🌟🙏

🏅☀️ Sports Day 2026 ☀️🏅
What a fantastic day we had celebrating our annual Sports Day with all of our children from P1–P7! It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship on display throughout the day.
A huge thank you to MR Sports for all of the hard work in organising and running such a fun-filled and successful event. The energy and dedication helped make the day a memorable one for everyone involved.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all the parents, guardians and family members who took the time to come along, cheer on the children and participate in the activities. Your support and encouragement mean so much to our pupils and helped create a fantastic atmosphere.
Most importantly, well done to all of our children for giving their best, supporting one another and making us incredibly proud. 🌟

🎶🎻 Special Visitors for P2! 🎻🎶
The children in Mr Clenaghan’s P2 class were delighted to welcome some very special visitors this week – Cuisle and Aoibhinn, Mr Clenaghan’s daughters!
As part of their World Around Us topic, ‘Sound’, the children had the opportunity to listen to and learn about traditional Irish music. Cuisle and Aoibhinn treated the class to a wonderful performance, showcasing their musical talents and introducing the children to the beautiful sounds of traditional Irish instruments and tunes.
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience, listening carefully to the different sounds and rhythms while learning how music is created and performed. It was a fantastic way to bring their topic to life and inspire a love of music and learning.
A huge thank you to Cuisle and Aoibhinn for taking the time to visit us and share their talents. The children had a wonderful morning and learned so much from the experience! ☘️🎶👏

It was fantastic to see the girls engaging so positively in the different lessons, learning new skills, and having lots of fun along the way. The visit provided a great insight into secondary school life and was an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
A huge thank you to the staff and pupils at St Dominic’s Grammar School for hosting such a fantastic morning. We are very grateful for your warm welcome and all the effort that went into making the day so enjoyable.
Well done, girls! 🌟
