Vault Krav Maga

Vault Krav Maga Instructing and coaching specialist self defence and Krav Maga in Northern Ireland since 2006. Contact 07842527843 for more details.

We teach beginners up to experts and professionals in NI and abroad. The largest & longest established Krav Maga school in Northern Ireland, from 2006. We have a team of 18 highly skilled instructors who regularly train together to maintain a high standard and high quality. We operate across venues throughout Northern Ireland. Vault is the benchmark for self defence in NI. Paying to attend a short course does not qualify anyone to teach under their own ‘commercial’ brand and certainly not found any self-defence group. We don’t shout about our extensive credentials, tactical qualifications, real world conflict experience and specialisms…ask any of our students!

Much more than excellent work by those in FZ1073 today saving their own lives and those of potentially 100’s more.

Vault ran a specialist anti hijack and general cabin emergency course earlier on board a fuselage this year covering exactly this scenario.

We explained the 3 broad categories of threat, the emergency descent, the duties of air forces and so the critical urgency in stopping such an attack violently.

A speedy recovery to those innocent injured today.

That one may walk in peace 🙏

Back to school! Elite self defence at Vault Belfast with Chief Instructor Glyn and Instructors Paul and Kerrie.

We teach how to use weapons to better inform defence against them. The qualifications and experience governing Vault’s content is world leading, but that doesn’t stop the usual weekly unintended comedy ensuing 🙃

Tonight at Vault Belfast:

🔸 An intense layered run through many knife defences starting with fundamentals 🔪

🔸 More advanced polish on fi****ms disarms and what comes next 🔫

🔸 g is an acceleration and not a speed 📝

🔸 And some context on how criminal trials function ⚖️

Elite self defence training blends law, technique and context. And occasionally physics. It’s about why as much as what!

Debrief learning points from Vault recently attending a specialist course in Hereford:

◾️Always force calmness in crisis.

◾️You are the most important person.

◾️Have a solution and not problem-based psychology.

◾️Thinking is more important than fighting your way out of most problems, but fighting is sometimes necessary. So that if you do have to fight, fight hard.

◾️Your and people you care about’s safety is initially your responsibility, not the state’s.
