SUNI's Schools Project - North Down and Newtownards

30/09/2026

About last night.... WOW! 🤩

We had an incredible evening celebrating our school staff and encouraging them for the year ahead! There was a real buzz in the room as staff chatted to each other, the worship was incredible, and Mark Johnston shared with us about how we are called to be jars of clay, relying on Jesus to equip us for what He has called us to.

🙏🏻 A big thank you to Mark, and the team in St Andrew's Presbyterian Church for hosting us, and to Iain, Sian & Dave for leading us in worship.

It was a privilege to provide this space, and I already can't wait to do it again next year!

IT'S TONIGHT!

There will be tea, coffee and delicious desserts, a time to worship together, some creative prayer stations and an uplifting message from our good friend, Mark Johnston.

If you work in ANY school in ANY capacity, consider yourself invited! We hope this will be an evening of encouragement that will set you up for the rest of the academic year.

🤗 Meet Ben! 🤗

I’m delighted that Ben has decided to spend the year in North Down and Newtownards! Make sure to introduce yourself to him if you see us out and about.

We are thrilled to welcome our new intern, Ben onto the SUNI team this year!

Ben has just graduated from Queens University and will be will be interning in the area of North Down & Ards alongside our Schools’ Worker, Caroline.

Please pray for Ben as he gets to know the area and starts to engage children and young people in God’s Good News through assemblies, RE Lessons and SU groups!
