🤩 AN INCREDIBLE GIFT 🤩

During a recent SU group, a few primary pupils told me they didn’t have a Bible of their own and would really love one to read more stories about God.

After sharing this with our good friends at Hamilton Road Baptist Church, they have very kindly gifted each of these pupils a brand new Bible 🥳 an amazing gesture that I am so thankful for!

I love that we can offer children the choice to explore faith for themselves, and for churches who partner with us to make this happen.

🔵 IT’S YOUR MOVE 🔵

It has been a busy few weeks delivering our series of P7 RE lessons in schools across the district. It’s been amazing getting to spend time with so many pupils, and cheer them on as they prepare to leave primary school and start their next chapter in post-primary school.

One of my highlights so far has been getting to know the lovely Leslie from West Church Bangor / Kids and partnering with her to deliver in a number of schools!

🤩 DISTRICT SUPPORT TEAM 🤩

DST gathered last night for our final meeting of the academic year. Aisling and I are so thankful for the incredible team that support and encourage us in our work across the district!

It was great to reflect on all that has happened, and pray expectantly for what God will do next 🙏🏻

NETWORKING BREAKFAST 🥐 ☕️

It was such a joy this morning to spend time with employed youth, children, family and community workers from across the district.

We shared some highlights and took time to pray together for the work that God has called us to. What a privilege it is to serve Him 🙏🏻

Our friends in East Belfast are running this event for P7 pupils - if you know anyone who could benefit from it they would be so welcome!

SU East Belfast It's Your Move Party is back in Orangefield Church this June! We can't wait to celebrate with P7's and their parents/carers, and equip them with practical tools for their next stage! A great opportunity for P7's to meet other P7's from across East Belfast, as well as others going into Year 8 in their next post-primary school!

Ahead of P7 pupils receiving their Post Primary School allocations tomorrow, we want to remind them that God is with them and knows everything about them, including the school they will go to in September. He has made them in an amazing and wonderful way and that will never change, no matter what school they go to ❤️💙
