I was absolutely delighted to complete a course with Sam Marsden herself on Teaching Drama for Mindfulness and Emotional Health. I’ve long been a huge fan of Sam’s publications and regularly turn to them for inspiration when designing workshops for young people.

This training was truly unique and insightful, bringing the ideas from her book to life in a practical and meaningful way. It was such a privilege to learn directly from the author herself.

Mindfulness and the creation of a safe, supportive space where young people feel free to be creative and expressive are so central to the work of a Youth Drama facilitator — and this course reaffirmed just how vital that work is. Can’t wait to bring all I’ve learnt to our Thestre Kids 🎭⭐️🎭
