​🚫 Scrap the Introductions in essays: The mark scheme has no allocation for "scene-setting." Stop warming up and start earning marks with your very first sentence.

​🎯 Master Your Command Words: A CCEA examiner has a specific response in mind for 'Analyse', 'Evaluate', 'Discuss', and 'Assess'. Learn the difference. If you ignore this, you lose marks before you’ve even started.

​📊 Use ALL the Data: A figure on its own is just decoration. Benchmark, comparison, or derivation of data is what defines analysis.

​📉 Explain Every Diagram: An unlabelled diagram with no link to your written argument costs marks rather than gains them. If you draw it, you must explain it.
