💜💚 Meet your new Parents Council Office Holders and Class Reps for 2026/27! 💚💜

A huge thank you to everyone who has volunteered to get involved this year. We’re so grateful for your support and are already looking forward to another fun-filled and exciting year ahead!

🌟 AND THIS YEAR, WE HAVE A BIG GOAL IN MIND… 🌟

One of the school’s priorities this year is to raise funds for stronger, sturdier and more robust outdoor play equipment for all our children to enjoy. 🛝⚽️🏀

One item already on the wish list is permanent, cemented-in basketball hoops - because, as it turns out, basketball hoops and Northern Irish weather aren’t exactly the best of friends! 😂🌬️🏀

The school has placed a real emphasis on just how important play, activity and time outdoors are for our children, and we think helping to improve their outdoor play facilities would be a fantastic focus for our Parents Council this year. ❤️

Once we have a clearer picture of the costs involved, we’ll share our fundraising target for 2026/27 - and hopefully, with the support of our amazing school community, we can make a real difference! 🌟

We can’t wait to get started and see what we can achieve together.

Here’s to another brilliant year at Lough View! 💜💚

🎉📱 We did it! 📱🎉

At the start of this school year, we set out to raise £5,600 to provide new iPads for every classroom at Loughview. Thanks to the incredible support of our school community, we not only reached our target — we exceeded it!

🌟 Total raised: £6,388.80 🌟

Even better, thanks to lower-than-expected costs, Parents Council has been able to fund the equivalent of 23.5 iPads for the school — far more than originally planned!

The iPads have already been delivered, fitted with protective cases, and will be ready for the children when they return in September. ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising this year by attending events, donating, volunteering, buying tickets, or spreading the word. This achievement belongs to our whole school community. ❤️

Together, we’ve made a lasting investment in our children’s learning, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve with their new technology.

💜💚 Thank you from Loughview Parents Council 💚💜

🎉 Congratulations to Callan in Year 6, the winner of the Friends of Lough View LEGO Guessing Competition!

Not only did Callan win, but he guessed the exact number of LEGO pieces in the jar – 311 pieces! 🧱

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Friends of Lough View stall and took part in the challenge. Your support is greatly appreciated.

All funds raised from the competition will go towards purchasing additional resources for our lending library, including sensory supports, dyslexia resources, calming aids, reference books and other items that families can borrow to explore what works best for their child.

If you would like to be added to the Friends of Lough View WhatsApp group to keep up to date with events and activities, please speak to your class rep.

Well done, Callan, and thank you all for joining in!

🎉🌈 WHAT A DAY! 🌈🎉

As we near the end of another fantastic school year, the Lough View Integrated Primary School Parents’ Council would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make The Colour Run Carnival such a huge success.

From the excitement of the Colour Run to the delicious food, ice cream, laughter and smiles, it was a day filled with fun, friendship and community spirit. Seeing our pupils having such a brilliant time made all the planning and hard work worthwhile.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers who gave up their time to help organise, set up, run activities and tidy away afterwards. Your support is invaluable, and events like this simply wouldn’t happen without you.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the amazing teachers and staff at Official Lough View Integrated Primary and Nursery School. Your encouragement, enthusiasm and support throughout the event helped make it such a memorable day for everyone involved.

Special thanks to our fantastic event partners:
🌈 The Ultimate Colour Run (Daryl) – thank you for bringing the energy, fun and colour!
🍔 Burger Queen NI – serving up fantastic food throughout the day!
🍕 The Little Red Pizza Truck – keeping everyone fuelled with delicious pizzas!
🍦 Percy's at Seapark– the perfect sweet treat to top off a brilliant afternoon!

Most importantly, thank you to all of our pupils, parents, grandparents, friends and family members who came along, got involved and helped create such a fantastic atmosphere. Days like today remind us what a special community we have at Loughview.

The colour may wash off, but the memories will last a lot longer! 🌈❤️

Thank you all for making it a day to remember and for helping us celebrate another wonderful year at Loughview Integrated Primary School.
