Simple individual decisions can make a big impact if everyone does their bit! Remember what Jebediah Springfield said; “A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man”
This week will be talking about sustainability tips outside of coffee cups!
Tip 1: Bring your water bottle with you
Bottled water can use up to 3 litres of water to make just 1 litre of bottled water! Along with this the energy to make the plastic which then has to be recycled after one use! The clear plastic we are all used to needs to be made from new material each time!
Make sure if you do use a single use water bottle to remove all water before you recycle it! Each year large amounts of water are removed from the water cycle and trapped in water bottles!
The Engineers Without Borders - Belfast water bottle is available in Cafe Destination!
