Let me introduce the Hairy Nurses 💈👩🏼‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️

Candice and Gill are experienced registered nurses who saw a gap in care within the nursing home where they worked. While a hairdresser visited residents weekly, many of the men rarely had the opportunity to enjoy the experience of a proper barber service.

Determined to change this, this year they trained at Belfast Met and achieved their Level 2 Barbering qualification! Combining their nursing expertise with barbering skills to create a service tailored specifically for men living in care facilities.

Using their knowledge and experience in supporting people with advanced care needs, they launched The Hairy Nurses, a dynamic duo passionate about helping residents look and feel like themselves again.

Because grooming is more than just a haircut, it’s about identity, dignity, confidence, and self-esteem.

We all can agree how beautiful this up-style is, created by level 2 hairdresser.
