Sr Eibhlin Hegarty
It is with sadness that the death of Sr Eibhlin Hegarty is announced. Sr Eibhlin was a cherished and long serving member of the Board of Governors of St Rose’s. Many of you would be familiar with her warm and kind face across the table at interviews. Sr Eibhlin was very strong in her commitment to the students and staff of St Rose’s and gave many years of dedicated service to the school. She had a great intellect wrapped up in thoughtfulness, yet was very in tune with the realities of school life. Many of us befitted from her immense kindness and wisdom. She was a very shrewd person with a wonderfully dry sense of humour.
In later years her health deteriorated and more recently she had been living in the care of the Dominican Community is Dublin.
Go ndeana Dia maith ar a hanam dilis. Please remember her in your prayers.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our former Principal Ms Teresa McNamee. Ms McNamee died surrounded by her family on Friday morning. Her funeral will take place on Monday 6th January at 11.30 am from St Gerard's Church, Antrim Road. May she rest in peace, St Rose of Lima pray for her.

The months mind mass for Ms Anne Blake, former music teacher in St Rose's will be on Wednesday 14th at 6.30pm in St Paul's. Ms Blake sadly passed away in July.

Helping Others Worldwide is a charity reusing clean uniforms. We would appreciate it if you could drop your clean St Rose's uniform into the office between the 24th and 26 of June. We will then pass them on to the charity.

Pupils to attend CCC as normal they will be bussed to the Glen Road site. Could Parents give written permission for their child to attend? Please wear School PE uniform.

It is with regret that we have had to cancel the Gala Dinner in City Hall on the 22nd. We are hoping to organise an alternative event and will keep you updated.
