Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál and The Meadow Ladies are working in collaboration to run 'Hands across the Drum's project, A rhythmic program of Multicultural beats, Bodhrán designing, African drumming, and workshops, leading up to a family friendly musc session just in time for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann

Come support us at the Voting Day in Belfast City Hall on Sunday 10th May. You can call in any time from 2-5pm, with 4-5pm as a quieter hour (there will be no musical performances and lower footfall).

You’ll have multiple votes to give out, the decision-making is in your hands as you get to choose which creative ideas will come to life in our city.

It’s a family-friendly day out as kids can vote too, there’ll be lots of entertainment as well as the incredible stalls of ideas.

No registration needed, bring everyone along!

There is an alternative voting method for those who can’t access the Voting Day, visit belfastcity.gov.uk/culturefunding on Monday 11th May to access an online vote from 9am-12pm

🪉🪕🪈We are delighted to share that Ceathrú Cheoil na bhFál has been awarded significant funding from the Arts Council NI and the Department for Communities NI, enabling us to purchase a new collection of high‑quality instruments for our programmes.

This investment has already made a meaningful difference to the growth of our music classes. Together with the Dead Rabbit and CCU, It removes financial barriers, widens access, and ensures that people across our community can take part in musical opportunities that simply would not have been possible without this support.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved for their trust, encouragement, and continued commitment to our work. We look forward to hearing our pupils learn, flourish, and showcase their talents in the years ahead.🪈🪕🪉
