We cannot wait to welcome all the children back to school on Wednesday 26th August. P2-P3 will go home at 12:00pm that day, whilst P4-7 will go home at 12:30pm. Normal school hours resume from Thursday 27th August. Please note that ALL PUPILS in P2-P7 will require a packed lunch on Thursday and Friday as no school dinners are available. P1 pupils will follow their induction programme as previously advised. Please also remember that school is closed for the bank holiday on Monday 31st August. School meals are available from 1st September. All our staff are very excited to welcome back all the children for the start of a wonderful year.

We are currently welcoming expressions of interest for temporary cleaner roles in the school. If you would be interested in being considered, please send an email detailing relevant, paid cleaning experience to [email protected] .

On 25th July, Little Fox Events, in collaboration with EastSide Arts & Eastside Learning, are bringing a very special pilot event to East Belfast!

They’ll be working with some brilliant collaborators and, most importantly, creative kids! 🙌

Congratulations to past pupil, Mason Ayre, on signing with Premier League team, Nottingham Forest. His talent on the football pitch was always evident, even at primary school. Well done, Mason!

An NI football prodigy has been snapped up by Premier League side Nottingham Forest ⚽ 🤝

Glentoran teenager Mason Ayre has been on trial with the former European champions on a number of occasions over the last year, scoring twice in a trial game against Liverpool.

Forest clearly like what they see in the attacking midfielder as they have now signed him.

The Ashfield Boys school pupil has represented Northern Ireland at underage level and shone for Glentoran II this season.

The young Glens came out on top in the Northern Ireland Football Development League, with Ayre catching the eye of scouts repeatedly.

He will now join Forst this month.

Congratulations to past pupil, Max Hastings, on being awarded a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology from Queen's University. Thanks to his mum, Lynda, for sharing this fantastic news with us. We're very proud of you, Max!
