Our staff explored the Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing, practical strategies for supporting students, and simple ways to look after their own wellbeing too.

A valuable and engaging session full of practical ideas that our TAs can take forward in their work.

⛰️ Good luck to our Sixth Form team! 💙

Today, our Sixth Form students, along with a team of dedicated staff, are taking on the challenge of climbing Slieve Donard to raise money for our chosen charity, Sólás.

Sólás is a special needs charity based in South Belfast, supporting children and young people with a broad range of additional needs, including Autism. A number of our students and their extended families benefit from the valuable services provided by Sólás.

We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for taking on this challenge and supporting such an important cause.

New Beginnings 💚

It is a real pleasure to welcome our students as they begin this exciting new chapter of their school journey.

As the new Head of Year 8, I am looking forward to getting to know each and every student, helping them settle in, make new friends and feel happy, confident and supported as they take this important next step. 😊

I’m excited to be there for our students throughout the years ahead — celebrating their successes, encouraging them when things are challenging and helping them to develop and grow, both academically and personally.

I hope that, together, we can create a year group where every student feels valued, included and proud to be part of our school community.

Outside of school, I am an avid hurling and soccer player, so I’m always happy to chat about all things sport!

I’m really looking forward to working closely with our students, families and staff to make the years ahead a happy, successful and memorable experience for everyone.
