What a week we had in Victoria Primary School for their RE Workshops on Prayer. It was wonderful to partner with Joymount Presbyterian Church, Carrickfergus, Downshire Church and Carrick Church of the Nazarene to create this space for learning and to engage with pupils right across the school!

One of the things that’s amazing about East Antrim is the number of Christian organisations investing in our schools and our young people. Over the summer I spent time getting to know many of the workers and today it was a privilege to join Hannah from Greater Ballyclare Youth for Christ as she delivered some lessons on creation with pupils in Fairview Primary School! We love supporting each other and ensuring we are all offering schools the best opportunities!

Calling all school staff we would love to see you this afternoon - I’ll have the kettle and coffee in and the goodies ready. Just bring yourself and your colleagues!

Calling all Christian teachers! We will be hosting three cluster gathering this year through out the district. We would love you to join us for conversation, a time to pray for each other, share ideas, develop new ideas and of course enjoy some sweet treats! So whether you lead assembly, help with SU group in school or just work in a school and have a Christian faith we would love to see you there!

We are loving this sunshine here in East Antrim over the last few days! We’ve had assemblies in Oakfield Primary School and Nursery Unit and Woodlawn Primary School. We’ve visited SU groups at Carrickfergus Academy and Larne Grammar as they are all kicking off a new school year together! Pray for these pupils especially those who have come along for the first time!
