King's Park Primary School, Newtownabbey

Our Summer Forest School was a great success, with the children trying out new things every day, such as cooking on fire, woodwork, nature art, den building and much more. Well done to everyone who took part and learned some new skills.

We are delighted to be holding our King’s Park Primary School Christmas Fair on Friday 4th December 2026, from 5pm–8pm.

We are currently looking for vendors who may be interested in joining us and having a stall at the fair. It would be a lovely opportunity to showcase your business and be part of a fun evening for our pupils, families and the local community.

This year we are very sad to say goodbye to Miss Greenaway in P1, Mrs Morland in P2, Mrs Bill in P6 and Sophie in P1. All four have played a significant part in our school and we are so grateful for everything they have invested in our boys and girls. We will all miss them and we all wish them well in their next adventures!

P1G had a fantastic Princesses, Dragons and Knights Day today! 👑🐉🛡️

The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a variety of exciting topic-based activities throughout the day. We even had our very own royal banquet, settled down for a movie, and finished the day with a Forest School adventure in our wonderful outdoor area, where we watered our plants and enjoyed exploring nature together.

It was a fun-filled day of learning, creativity and adventure, and we made lots of wonderful memories!

P1McV had a great Princess, Knights and Dragon Day today! We had play-based learning, a banquet, movie time and finished with a Forest School where we played in our fabulous outdoor area and looked after some flowers and shrubs by watering them!

Well done to the Primary 1,2 and 3 winners from our Competitive Sports Day last Wednesday and Fridays children! We even had some extra badges to give out to some of our Kings Park staff for all their hard work this year! 🥇 🥈 🥉
