Carryduff Primary School is looking for a dedicated and reliable School Cleaner to join our friendly team.

Our cleaners play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment where our children can learn, grow and thrive every day. If you take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a supportive community and would like to make a real difference behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you.

The time for goodbyes to some long-standing members of staff 🥲

Mrs Diane Martelli is retiring from her role as Learning Support Teacher after working in the school for over 20 years. She has supported generations of pupils in both literacy and numeracy over that time, making a lasting difference to so many.

Yvonne Maginnes is hanging up her apron after working in our school kitchen for 23 years. She has been a friendly, smiling presence for both staff and pupils in our canteen. She will look forward to enjoying time with her grandson and relaxing at their holiday home in Turkey.

After seven years of driving up and down the road from Annalong, Mrs Cherith Bennett has secured a teaching post much closer to home. Our loss is their gain!

We are incredibly grateful for the contribution they have all made to our school and we wish them all every happiness and fulfilment in the next phase of their lives.

We said goodbye to an incredible bunch of P7s yesterday. All year, they have embodied our school values; hard-working, great buddies to the younger pupils, tight friendships, kind, keen to get stuck in to anything and everything. We are going to miss you, but the world is your lobster - go get it and shake it 💪💪💪.

Yesterday, our P1 and P2 enjoyed a very warm visit to Streamvale Farm, where they got up close and personal with a range of furry and feathered creatures. The cute chicks and gigantic bull were among some of the favourites 🐥🐂.
