Bloomfield’s Under 16 football team got their Northern Ireland Cup campaign off to a great start with a 4–0 win against Girls’ Model in the first round! The goals came from Katie Gardner, Myla Thomson, Susannah Scott and Sophie Hawthorne. Well done to all the girls on an excellent result!

The squad was Cally Lester, Evie Archer, Aleah Neill, Elisha Gillespie, Sophie Hawthorne, Sofiya Gilliland, Pippa McLaughlin, Layla Perry, Zoe Gray, Evie Shaw, Myla Thomson, Aimee Cleland, Sienna Anderson, Susannah Scott and Katie Gardner (C).

The Year 8 Under 12 football team got their Belfast Cup campaign off to a fantastic start with a win against Aquinas School! The girls played brilliantly, scoring an impressive nine goals and showing great teamwork throughout the match. Great to see Emma Gardner (past pupil) back helping coach the girls.

The squad was Faye Colgan, Anna Cope, Heidi Watters, Zeynab Haji, Mia Thomas, Hollie McMaster, Clara Lyons, Abigail Bowers, Grace Causby, Alannah Steenson, Katie Smyth (C), Georgia Wilson, Grace McNab, Eden Lee and Olivia Stewart.

Cancer Fund for Children - Runners and Readers!
Congratulations to all who took part in the Belfast Marathon and ReadOn in May/June to support the Cancer Fund for Children. The marathon raised £3300 and ReadOn raised £1370, which means an incredible £4670 going to help children and families in Northern Ireland affected by cancer. Thank you to all who took part, by running, reading or donating.
