A big THANK YOU to our Board and staff team for spending their Saturday sharing ideas, reflecting on our achievements and exploring what we want to do next as an organisation to continue to make a difference.

✨ Rhythms of Connection: Part 2 ✨

Back in August 2025 Beatndrum Samba Band had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Brazilian-inspired jazz ensemble Tudo Azul in Hannover.

The collaboration continues this month in Belfast during Belfast International Arts Festival as we reunite at Black Box for an unforgettable evening celebrating Brazilian music.

Expect: surprise guests from the Belfast music scene, excellent tunes, dancing and all-round good craic!

Thanks to Belfast City Council, Belfast Music and Hannover’s Culture Office for making this exchange possible.

This week we hosted the Belfast Stories Panel at the Beat Carnival Centre.

Andrew, our Chief Executive - Artistic Director, is part of the voluntary panel which has been brought together to provide oversight, advice and challenge in relation to the stories development processes and proposed initiatives.

Something special is rolling into Belfast... 🎡

We're delighted to be partnering with Autin Dance Theatre, EastSide Arts and Belfast International Arts Festival on Parade – The Giant Wheel; a vibrant outdoor spectacle filled with dance, rhythm, movement and collective joy.

Join us for a workshop on Friday 16th October and become part of the performance itself as we bring community celebration to the heart of C.S. Lewis Square Square on Saturday 17th October.

Lots of free family fun happening at Carlisle Memorial this Saturday from 12pm-2pm 🎉

Over the past few months we have been facilitating workshops with Belfast Business Trust’s Creative Belfast interns.

These workshops have provided hands-on experience of creating an event in a heritage space, from developing ideas to preparing for them in the building itself.

It’s been great to see their creativity and confidence grow and we can’t wait to see it all come to life at Saturday’s event!

We're looking for young people aged 13+ to help build a brand-new Music Collective. From drumming and digital music to merch design, shaping performances, creating stage identity and performing with Beatndrum Samba Band, you'll have the chance to shape what this group becomes.

This is a FREE opportunity to learn new skills (no experience needed), get creative and be part of something from the very beginning!
