As the 2025/26 Student Officer team reaches the end of its term today, we're reflecting on the impact they've made throughout the year.
This year the team:
👉 Secured an agreement that will prevent accommodation fees from rising above the line of inflation for the next three years.
👉 Worked with the University to make student priority a top priority, including the introduction of night buses.
👉 Increased accessibility to reusable period products
👉 Drove the SU campaign to become Drug & Alcohol Harm Reduction accredited (the first SU in Ireland to do so)
We want to thank Amy, Eli, Nadine, Mórrigan, Róisín and Jack, who worked hard this year to represent and lobby for Queen's students, while also running their campaigns and projects.
Amy, Eli, Róisín and Jack- we wish you all the luck for whatever comes next!
Nadine and Mórrigan are continuing as part of your Student Officer team, with four new faces we will be introducing soon!
