Black History Month is celebrated from 1-31st October to recognise the achievements and history of Black people in the UK.

This year’s theme is ‘Honouring Our Communities’ and is intended to represent the many complexities and journeys that Black communities and individuals have experienced throughout history, allowing us the time to reflect on these stories of resilience, connection and lived experience.

Translink are proposing fewer services and more expensive fairs. If it goes ahead, anyone who relies on public transport in NI is going to be affected.

As a Rep, you’ll listen to feedback and collab with staff and other reps to make changes that benefit current and future students.

That could be anything from deadline extensions, to improving course content, to organising academic events.

Gain leadership skills, build a network of staff and students and gain formal recognition through the QUB Future Ready Award (which will look great on your CV!)

This week, we hosted our first-ever Whopathon, facilitated by John Hill, VP of Story at whop.com.

This interactive, hands-on event challenged students to take an idea and turn it into a live business. In just three hours, participants had created and launched their very own businesses, leaving with the skills, tools and confidence to continue developing their ideas throughout their time at Queen's University Belfast and beyond.

The programme is a really rewarding opportunity to:

⭐️Make a valuable contribution to your community
