Say hi to the Erasmus art student Kristel from Switzerland.

During her five weeks traineeship she is learning the English language and settling into the world of social media and art and deisgn for commercial use.

Talented Artist Kristel attends an art school in Ticino and during her traineeship she plans to learn a lot about photography, photo editing, GIFs and Stickers for Giphy and blogging.

She will also have the opportunity to dedicate herself to art, creating digital graphics and magnificent Irish landscape paintings.

Marilen from Germany has completed her traineeship in Belfast with Trainer Christine Watson, making the most of every opportunity to learn, explore, and experience life in Northern Ireland.

Find inspiration from the learning log of Jonas, an Office Administration apprentice from Austria, who spent three weeks living and working in Belfast as part of his Erasmus+ traineeship with Watson & Co. Chartered Marketing and TrainingMatchmaker.
During his placement, Jonas developed skills in content marketing, social media management, photography, video editing, WordPress blogging, SEO and AI-powered design tools. He created Instagram content, learnt how to optimise Google Business Profiles, attended Today at Apple workshops, completed Canva certifications and even trained another trainee during his placement.

Beyond the workplace, Jonas embraced life in Northern Ireland by exploring Belfast’s famous murals, Botanic Gardens, the Ulster Museum and the Giant’s Causeway. He also travelled to Dublin, making the most of every opportunity to learn, grow and experience a new culture.

Four weeks ago, Giulio travelled from Tuscany to the capital of Northern Ireland with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between his IT background and digital marketing.
Now, his Erasmus traineeship in Belfast has come to an end, and he is bringing back an incredible amount of practical skills and international experience! From mastering Canva and visual storytelling to exploring how global brands leverage Reddit, Giulio has officially taken his content creation to the next level.
