I can help!

I’m Paul, a Qualified BSL Tutor & Deaf Awareness Trainer with 15+ years’ experience teaching British Sign Language.

👤 One-to-One BSL Tutoring – £40 per hour

Sessions are available online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams and can be tailored around the areas you would like to work on, including:

💬 Conversational BSL

📝 Exam preparation and practice
💪 Building confidence in using fluent BSL skills

Sessions are flexible, hourly and must be booked in advance.

£100 per group for 2 hours
Maximum 10 people per session

👥 Deaf Awareness Training
£200 per group for 2 hours
Maximum 10 people per session
The fee includes a qualified BSL Interpreter to support communication throughout the session.

Last night (Thursday 16th March), I delivered a sign language session for my sisters because they want to be able to communicate with my fiancée (who is Deaf) and with my friends who are Deaf as well. I delivered the sessions at home making it more informal.

Maybe you have a family relative who is Deaf or friends who are Deaf, I can deliver British Sign Language sessions at your home to make it more informal and comfortable.

My aim is to deliver the basics of British Sign Language such as:

1. Greeting one another
2. Everyday conversations
3. Getting out and about
4. Much more (you can decide what you’d like to learn)
