👍 If you agree - should children be given small jobs to help build their confidence and basic life skills?

In our nurseries we often guide children through making their own food or give them tasks like tidying up after play. We believe that involving them in these activities builds their skills for life and gives them small responsibilities, even at a young age.

"Why does my toddler hit, bite or pull hair?" 🤔

Challenging behaviour can be difficult and upsetting for parents and families, but there are often reasons behind what your toddler is communicating through their behaviour.

Happy Autumn Equinox! It's officially the first day of Autumn and we're excited for outdoor adventures! Outdoor play is an important part of our early years programme. From exploring nature to developing confidence, coordination and social skills, children have lots of opportunities to learn through play.

Our Belfast Balmoral Pre-school children enjoyed a nature walk at Musgrave. They made a crumble for snack with the rhubarb they picked - the children loved peeling apples, cutting rhubarb, rubbing butter and flour together and tasting lemons. 🍏🍋

Lots of happy smiles for messy play time! 🥰 This month we have been working on 'building our brains' through interactive play and activities with the children. Our Circular Road Butterflies had fun learning about shapes & colours through tuff tray play time together.
