Aghaarrr!! 🏴‍☠️🦜Our Stormont Buzzy bees and Pre School had a fun scavenger hunt! We dressed up as pirates, searched for treasure and had so much fun! We learned to work as a team and problem solve.

This morning, our Pre-School room at Carnmoney had the pleasure of hosting the Amazon Jungle Show🦎

It was an exciting experience where we were able to meet, learn about, and even have a brief encounter with some amazing animals😁
We saw a variety of creatures including spiders, lizards, geckos, and even a snake! 🐍

Our Stormont children had an exciting visit from a very friendly dinosaur and unicorn today! They even had a dance to baby shark with the children and they loved it! (well most did 😅)

Our Carnmoney branch had a visit from the ice cream man and they all got a yummy ice cream and even got to pick their own toppings 😊🍦🍨😍
What a way to start another week of fun off in Rascals!!😊🌞

Our pre-school children had a very active morning in our sports day 😊
We had an egg and spoon race, sack race and we even had to use our concentration to throw a ring onto a coloured cone.🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
It was great fun and we all joined in, took turns and worked really well together.😀
At the end we all got a medal and even a little sweet treat as a well done.🏅🍬

⭐ Carolyn's Story
“Noleen (Rascals Operations Manager) taught me everything I know and was an excellent mentor/role model and support on a daily basis.
Throughout my time with Rascals I have undertaken numerous training courses including Highscope/ Designated Officer/First Aid/ Fire Safety/ Food Hygiene/ Allergy Training and also my Level 5 in Management.
Hard work pays off and you can achieve anything that you want as long as you have the dedication to do so and the support of a good team, which I have always had since I started all those many moons ago!”

- Started as a nursery assistant 23 years ago in the Belfast Met Branch.
- Progressed to Unit Head until 2007 when branch closed - relocated to Circular Road.
- Appointed the role of Senior Unit Head for a short time then the role of Deputy manager in 2008, worked alongside Noleen for 6 years.
- Stepped up as manager to cover maternity leave
- Given the position of manager permanently in 2015 in the Ulsterville Avenue branch.
- Moved to Upper Lisburn Road in 2016 as manager.
