Year 11 Mock-Interview Morning Success! 🌟
As part of the CEIAG Department's Work-Related Learning programme, our exceptional Year 11 students recently took part in a highly successful Mock-Interview morning here at De La Salle College! 🤝📝
A massive thank you to our wonderful guest interviewers who gave up their time to support, guide and inspire our pupils:
TransLink
Workforce Training Services
Bryson Pathways Community Support
Career Services
Although there were plenty of nerves beforehand, the morning gave our students a brilliant, authentic taste of what a real-world interview feels like.
Most importantly, they walked away with invaluable feedback to help them succeed when they have to do it for real in the future.
We are incredibly proud of how our Year 11s conducted themselves. Well done, gentlemen! 👏👏

Last week, some of our Year 10 pupils enjoyed a fantastic day at the Ulster Museum. They explored a powerful digital exhibition on Northern Ireland's recent history, gaining a deeper understanding of The Troubles and its impact on society today. They also visited exhibitions on Belfast's first urban Gaeltacht and Life and Death in Ancient Egypt.
The boys took part in a range of interactive activities, including a puppet show and a textiles workshop.
A great day of learning and discovery!
