Hope you all enjoyed the festive season. Just an update: 2023 is now nearly fully booked now for lessons and we have a few gigs booked in also. We have had a few new parents enquiring for their children so if you are thinking of lessons in Jan/Feb 2023 then get in touch for beginner Harp and whistle lessons, limited availability left!

Also thanks to Anna Connor Events for booking us for her amazing events this year and to Seán óg Mac Corraidh for his recommendations and support throughout the year

Dia dhaoibh a chairde,

I haven't updated in a while, I've been busy with lessons and gigs, my lovely students of harp and whistle returned this week and it has been a pleasure to pick up with them all. This week I also played at a wedding ceremony for a beautiful couple in Belfast City Hall and I wish both Emily and Patrick many congratulations, thank you for having me.

I also played at Titanic quarter for a corporate event this week and a few more similar events and dates are now booked. I have loved every minute of this. University and work starts back next week also but message me with any enquiries and I'll help out where I can.

Hi everyone
I came back from Donegal after spending 3 weeks looking after the best group of children ever! Lots of ceoil agus craic.
I came home for Belfast Trad fest and spent this week in workshops and masterclasses with the fantastic Mary Bergin and the awesome Sharon Shannon! Starstruck!
Still a few more events to play this summer and then back to teaching in September

Its been a great few months at O'Brien Trad. I have a nice mix of beginner harp and beginner whistle students each week, they are all such a pleasure to teach and their progress is amazing

I also have 2 groups learning beginner Irish, one adult and one children's afterschool group. The children's group put on a show last week of music, poetry and language, I am very proud of them all

I have also played at a few corporate events and a few more booked in the next few months as well as civil wedding ceremonies, I am humbled at the support from you all

I had the pleasure of working with the wonderful children from Cardinal O’Donnells GAA for the past number of weeks. We hope to see everyone back again in September. A big thank you to everyone who attended.
