Sports, teamwork and fun at Girdwood!🏃‍♀️⚽️

For National Fitness Day, we welcomed 120 children from schools across Belfast, including Sarah Crooks (Mrs Crooks) and pupils from Malvern Primary, for a day packed with different sports and activities, from fencing and football to much more.

Sarah shares how physical education can support children beyond the sports field, helping with focus, attainment, teamwork and communication.

A brilliant day of getting active, trying something new and showing how movement can help children thrive!

For Greg, yoga isn’t just about flexibility. It’s part of his fitness routine.🧘‍♂️

Practising yoga at Olympia Leisure Centre has helped Greg build strength, flexibility, stamina and endurance, all of which support his workouts in the gym. In fact, he’d choose a yoga session over a gym session any day!

Greg joined us for our free yoga class at Olympia on National Fitness Day.
