Why do we focus so much on technique at DANSA - The Studio Belfast?

Because great dancers aren’t built by simply learning more choreography, they’re built by mastering the foundations. 💪🏼

Strong technique helps dancers to:

✨ Build strength, flexibility & alignment
✨ Execute skills safely and correctly
✨ Reduce the risk of injury
✨ Develop cleaner turns, jumps & lines

✨ HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY, DANSA - The Studio Belfast! ✨

Today we celebrate 5 incredible years of DANSA – The Studio Belfast. 🖤🩶🤍

Five years of dancing, learning, performing, competing, achieving and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to every student who has walked through our doors and every parent and family who has trusted and supported us over the last five years. Your continued support means more than you know.

And a very special thank you to our incredible staff, past and present. 🖤

Thank you for the time, energy, creativity and care you pour into our students. For celebrating their wins, encouraging them through the challenges, believing in them and helping create a studio where they feel supported, confident and excited to learn.

So much of what happens behind the scenes goes unseen, but DANSA simply wouldn’t be DANSA without the people who show up every week and give so much to our students and our studio.

I am incredibly grateful for the team we have built and so proud of everything we have achieved together.

5 years down… and we’re only getting started. ✨

Here’s to the next chapter, the next generation of dancers and many more years of DANSA - The Studio Belfast.

✨ AND JUST LIKE THAT… WE’RE BACK! ✨

Our first two days of the new term are complete and it feels SO good to have the studio full again. 🖤

From familiar faces running back through the doors to brand-new students joining us for their very first class, the energy in the studio has been exactly what we missed.

New classes have begun, friendships have been reunited, new friendships are already forming and our dancers have jumped straight back into learning, creating and challenging themselves.

After weeks of planning behind the scenes, there is nothing better than finally seeing the studios come back to life. 🥹

And the best part? We’re only two days in.

There are so many exciting things ahead for our students this year — new goals, new opportunities, performances, exams, competitions and plenty of memories along the way.

2026/27… we think you’re going to be a special one. ✨

✨ LITTLE DANCERS, BIG BEGINNINGS ✨

Looking for the perfect first class for your little one? 🖤🩶🤍

Our Preschool Programme is designed especially for children aged 2½–5 years, creating a fun, nurturing introduction to dance, movement, music, singing and acrobatics.

At this age, it’s about so much more than learning steps.

✨ Building confidence & independence
✨ Learning to listen and follow instructions
✨ Developing coordination & musicality
✨ Making new friends
✨ Exploring creativity and imagination
✨ Developing strength and fundamental movement skills
✨ Most importantly… having FUN!

Our classes grow alongside your child, with different levels designed to give them the right amount of challenge as their confidence and ability develops.

🤸 Mini Tumblers Level 1 | 2½–3½ years
🎭 Introduction to Song & Dance | 3–5 years
🩰 Introduction to Dance Level 2 | 3½–5 years

For many of our little dancers, this is their very first activity without a parent by their side — and watching them grow from those first tentative steps into confident little performers is one of our favourite parts of what we do. 🥹💙

A warm welcome, lots of encouragement, plenty of smiles and the beginning of what we hope will be a lifelong love of dance.

Their DANSA journey starts here. ✨
