As for our legendary teachers and classroom assistants? The laminators have been unplugged. The glue sticks have caps on them (for once). And the well-deserved rest has officially begun. 😴🤫☕️

What a fantastic day we’ve had! 💙✨

From pirate adventures 🏴‍☠️ and friendly shark encounters 🦈 to splashing in the water 💦, fishing fun 🦀 and exploring our under-the-sea world 🐙, the children threw themselves into every moment of beach-day magic! 🌈☀️

There were smiles as bright as the sunshine 😁, laughter louder than the ocean waves 🌊, and enough energy to power a whole fleet of pirate ships! 🚢⚓

A huge thank you to our amazing staff who helped transform Greenwood House into a tropical paradise 🌴🍍 and made sure every child had a day full of fun, friendship and unforgettable memories. 💛

Now it’s time to pack away the flip-flops 🩴, wave goodbye to the sharks 👋🦈, and get some well-earned rest! 😴

🌞 Greenwood Beach Day 2026 Warning! 🌞

It is absolutely roastin’! 🥵 Teachers, classroom assistants, and pupils are all melting into puddles today. 🫠

But things are about to get even hotter... Word on the playground is that a coup is underway for Beach Day! Rumor has it there are plans to bury Mrs. Thompson neck-deep in the sand so everyone else can have a beach party for the rest of the week! 🏖️🎉

As you can see in the leaked photo, the demands are already in, and she has been officially warned! 🕵️‍♀️😂 Keep an eye out for anyone carrying a bucket and spade today, Mrs. T! 🪣⏳

🏖️🌈☀️ Greenwood House Beach Day 2026 is officially OPEN! ☀️🌈🏖️

Grab your sunglasses, slap on the sun cream, and prepare for a day of sandy toes (well… pretend sandy toes! 😆) because our annual Greenwood House Beach Day has arrived! 🏝️🐠

This year we’ve got it all:
🌴 A tropical tiki hut for chilling out
🌈 A rainbow fit for a beach-day entrance
🏴‍☠️ Pirate adventures on the high seas
🦈 Shark sightings (don’t worry, they’re very friendly!)
🦀 Fishing fun and seaside games
🐙 Under-the-sea sensory spaces
💦 Splash-tastic water play
🏖️ Enough beach vibes to make us forget we’re not actually in Hawaii!

The children will be diving straight into the fun, exploring, playing, splashing, and creating wonderful memories with friends and staff. 💙✨

🎉🏰 Class 3 took learning to new heights today… literally! 🏰🎉

There were giant jumps 🤸, speedy slides 🛝, lots of laughter 😂 and a few attempts at becoming professional bouncing champions 🏆💨. Thankfully, everyone landed safely and with huge smiles! 😊

We’re not sure who had more fun – the children or the staff watching them bounce their energy away! 🤭

⚽🌍 Class 3 jumped in with both feet for World Cup Day in Greenwood House today and had an absolutely fantastic time taking part in all the activities! 🏆🎉

The team spirit was high, the smiles were even bigger, and everyone gave it their best shot! ⚽👏

We’re delighted to report that Class 3 were MUCH better behaved than the opening match last night… 😆🚫🟥 Not a single red card was issued all day! Although a few members of staff may have picked up a yellow card or two for questionable decisions 🤔🟨, they somehow managed to avoid suspension and lasted the full day! 😂

Well done, Class 3 – champions on and off the pitch! 🏅⭐⚽
