๐ Greenwood Beach Day 2026 Warning! ๐
It is absolutely roastinโ! ๐ฅต Teachers, classroom assistants, and pupils are all melting into puddles today. ๐ซ
But things are about to get even hotter... Word on the playground is that a coup is underway for Beach Day! Rumor has it there are plans to bury Mrs. Thompson neck-deep in the sand so everyone else can have a beach party for the rest of the week! ๐๏ธ๐
As you can see in the leaked photo, the demands are already in, and she has been officially warned! ๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ๐ Keep an eye out for anyone carrying a bucket and spade today, Mrs. T! ๐ชฃโณ

๐๐ฐ Class 3 took learning to new heights todayโฆ literally! ๐ฐ๐
There were giant jumps ๐คธ, speedy slides ๐, lots of laughter ๐ and a few attempts at becoming professional bouncing champions ๐๐จ. Thankfully, everyone landed safely and with huge smiles! ๐
Weโre not sure who had more fun โ the children or the staff watching them bounce their energy away! ๐คญ

โฝ๐ Class 3 jumped in with both feet for World Cup Day in Greenwood House today and had an absolutely fantastic time taking part in all the activities! ๐๐
The team spirit was high, the smiles were even bigger, and everyone gave it their best shot! โฝ๐
Weโre delighted to report that Class 3 were MUCH better behaved than the opening match last nightโฆ ๐๐ซ๐ฅ Not a single red card was issued all day! Although a few members of staff may have picked up a yellow card or two for questionable decisions ๐ค๐จ, they somehow managed to avoid suspension and lasted the full day! ๐
Well done, Class 3 โ champions on and off the pitch! ๐

โฝ๏ธ๐ง๏ธ FULL TIME! ๐ง๏ธโฝ๏ธ
Thatโs the final whistle on a wet but fantastic World Cup Day in Greenwood House! ๐๐
The children certainly looked the part with some brilliant football kits on display ๐โฝ๏ธโฆ although weโll be keeping our thoughts on the Liverpool shirts firmly in the VAR room! ๐๐ด
There was plenty of action throughout the day as our football stars scored goals ๐ฅ
, sprinted through ladder drills ๐โโ๏ธ๐จ, and blasted shots at the target like true World Cup winners! ๐ฅโฝ๏ธ
We even took football into the future by playing matches on our brand-new sensory floor ๐โฝ๏ธโproof that football really can be played anywhere!
Despite the rain, the smiles never stopped and the energy levels were definitely Premier League standard! ๐๐
A huge thank you to everyone who took part. As you can see from the photos, the children had an absolute blast and created some wonderful memories along the way. โค๏ธโฝ๏ธ

โฝ๐ THE BIG DAY IS ALMOST HERE! ๐โฝ
The nerves will be setting in tonightโฆ the boots will be polishedโฆ the celebrations practisedโฆ because tomorrow is the 2026 Greenwood House Assessment Centre World Cup Day! ๐โฝ๐ฅ
Weโve got a fantastic day planned with crossbar challenges ๐ฏ, cone-smashing competitions ๐ด๐ฅ, and plenty of screamers flying into the top corner ๐๐ฅ
!
I did suggest adding a special event involving a perfectly-timed slide tackle on Mrs Thompsonโฆ but apparently sheโs needed until the end of June ๐ค๐
I also tried my very best to send a few emails to a certain Cristiano Ronaldo ๐ง๐, but then we realised weโd get absolutely no work out of the classroom assistants if he turned up! ๐โฝ๐คฃ
Itโs set to be a brilliant day full of fun, laughter, teamwork and maybe even a little bit of footballing magic โจโฝ.
Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for plenty of pictures ๐ธ and videos ๐ฅ from what is undoubtedly the biggest footballing tournament happening anywhere in the world tomorrow! ๐๐๐
