How delighted we were to be presented yesterday with the Safer Schools NI Certification Award for Digital Proficiency in our school. This involved parents, children and staff undertaking training in many aspects of digital safety. Well done to our whole school community.

We held a beautiful school Mass to celebrate the retirement of our wonderful Vice Principal Mrs Cahill and our Chair of Governors Mrs Christine Nagle! We wish you many happy years of retirement ahead full of joy and fun! Thank you Mrs Cahill and Mrs Nagle for all you have given to our school!

Mr Crummey, Mr Murray and Mr Morrow’s classes enjoyed a few tunes and songs 🎶 in the sun this morning! Our outdoor classroom is the perfect place to be during a heatwave ☀️

Our staff, children and parents enjoyed the good weather and BBQ festivities at our Summer Fun Day yesterday. A huge thank you to our Park Lodge PTA, MR Sports, Skill School and our parent and grandparent volunteers who made the day such a success! Can you spot our colourful staff who joined in the fun?

The Year 6 girls recently enjoyed a visit from Dominican College Fortwilliam, where they had the opportunity to meet staff and pupils and learn all about life in First Year. During the visit, the girls heard about the subjects on offer, extracurricular activities, school routines and the support available to help new pupils settle in. Current students shared their experiences and answered questions, helping to ease any worries about the transition to post-primary school. The visit was both informative and enjoyable, leaving the girls excited and confident about the prospect of starting secondary school.💚🖤📚👩🏽‍🏫

The sun is due to visit us tomorrow on our Summer Fun Day, be prepared for hot weather and wear PE gear with sun cream, hats and bring water to drink. The car park will be closed in the afternoon for all traffic. PTA stalls will be set up for shopping and ballots.

Drama Time after schools ended this term with two fantastic shows. Amazing expressive and talented performances all round! Well done to all involved!
