Black Mountain Playgroup

A big thank you to AJs Balloons and Party's, Magic George, Eagle Sandwich Bar and Mauds Ballygomartin for helping us out today with food and entertainment 😊 and of course our BMPS classroom assistants.
Also a big shout out to all our amazing Playgroup parents, their families and friends who raised sponsor money to make today possible 👏
But most of all thank you to everyone who came today to join us for our last ever day in Playgroup, we will cherish the memories 😢

☹️ Unfortunately Black Mountain Playgroup will close at the end of June 2025 😢
Myself and Lynette would like to take this opportunity to thank all our parents, past and present, for trusting us to look after your kiddlewinkles and allowing us to be part of their early education.
We will cherish the memories made with all 212 children who have been a part of our playgroup family over the past 13 years. There has never been a dull moment! We hope they are all happy and healthy and wish them the very best for their futures. Thank you all so much for your support, over the years and at this sad time. Lisa x

*Playgroup is open 9- 12.30, term time
*Parents may be eligible for help with fees through the Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme
*Children must be 2 years and 10 months before starting
*Children must be fully toilet trained to start Playgroup

Early Years - the organisation for young children wishes to thank everyone who participated in the training sessions for the Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme.

Over the course of the training, which is now complete, we engaged with approximately 1300 childminders, daycare and playgroup providers and provided access to our training materials and videos to help register children and make claims.

If you haven’t done so already, please login to the portal and fill in the child enrolment phase before August 31st. This should be done even if you are not planning on making a claim until later in September. While children can be added after this date it may lead to increased administration so it is much easier to have this task completed before 31st August.

If you are aware of any parents who may be eligible but have not yet registered their child, then please encourage them to complete the registration process asap here; https://www.early-years.org/nicss/parents

We appreciate that this is a new system and you will need time and support to build claims and submit. Our team are here to help and you can contact us as follows;
