We know this year has been a particularly tough one for families, with cuts in benefits, increased cost of heating, food and electricity.

Befriender -USDT has an ongoing recruitment drive for Befrienders. Hours of work are negotiated based on your needs and that of our service users The Befriender role is to meet with and befriend isolated disabled people and to spend a minimum of 2-4 hours on average with each person assigned to them. The aim of the role is to improve self confidence and remove/reduce barriers.

The Executive has approved a summer food payment scheme to make payments to families of over 102,000 children during the months of July and August, This scheme is only for those children who were entitled to free school meals on 30th June 2020.

The office will be closed from Monday 12th July reopening on Monday 19th July at 9am.
