Study USA – Applications Now Open!
Huge thanks to our St Mary’s student Cara, UU student Caoimhe, QUB student Tara, and Mary Carson from British Council NI for energetically promoting Study USA to our students.
Hearing first-hand about Cara’s experience at Manhattan University (NYC), Caoimhe’s at King's College, Pennsylvania, and Tara’s at NC Wesleyan University (North Carolina) really showcased the amazing Study USA opportunity and the adventure that awaits every student. Our Associate Lecturer Emma Donnelly also shared her own Study USA story from South Carolina.

Dolly Parton, 9 to 5
Today on the 25/9 or as our American friends call it 9-2-5 we celebrate Dolly Parton and the creation of her Imagination Library to inspire a love of reading in children. Our trainee teachers and traditional musicians who have previously visited Nashville as a result of the Belfast-Nashville Sister Cities relationship perform one of Dolly's famous songs 'My Coat of Many Colours'.

Best wishes to St Mary’s students Aimee, Emma and Hana as they begin their Study USA year at Misericordia University, Albright College and Wilson College.
Thanks to a British Council Northern Ireland–managed scholarship on behalf of the Department for the Economy NI (DfE), they’ll spend an academic year immersed in US college life.
