The harsh truth is…
You aren’t going to achieve your dream physique in 8 weeks.
You might not even achieve it in 6 months or even a full year.
It’s a long process of stripping down body fat, building muscle and learning how to balance life during the whole process.
I learnt this the hard way, I tried to spread my energy across too many things at once and not really fully committing to one particular goal.
And ultimately just kept going round in circles.
There’s 3 things you need to do this January to finally see progress;
- Set yourself an overall goal (achieving a certain look, getting to X weight, dropping X amount of Lbs)
- Write out a plan based around your lifestyle and work, to understand how you’re going to get to your goal, step by step…
- Set yourself mini targets along the way (like losing 10lbs in 12 weeks) to keep motivation high and build momentum week by week
If you do these 3 things, I guarantee you’ll see results…

Unreal difference in the before and after photos…
Not bad for having a holiday and work nights out over the festive period👀
The gym should compliment your life, not take away from it.
If you can make progress and still enjoy yourself in the process that’s a big win for me.
Yes, you do need to make some sacrifices.
And it might take a bit longer than you’d like, but it’s a lifestyle change - not a quick fix
And it makes it even easier when you have a plan to follow to keep you progressing🫡

When Dylan packed on some size for Ibiza over the summer in less than 10 weeks…
He’ll tell you himself he wasn’t restricted at all with going out and enjoying himself most of the summer - maybe more than I’d recommend but that’s life sometimes🤣
But with the New Year approaching, think about the changes you could make in 16/20 weeks if you put the work in🤷♂️
Then you’ll be approaching summer looking and feeling the best you’ve ever felt because YOU put the work in!

Do you always find yourself getting into a bit of a rut this time of the year?
Summers just finished, the dark nights kick in and you don’t get out of the house as much as you use to with the weather…
You repeat the same days over and over, eating, watching Netflix and probably suffering with a bit of seasonal depressing because of this🤷♂️
The best thing you can to do combat this is to set yourself goals to work towards.
It could be;
- weight loss
- running a certain distance
- training a certain amount of times per week
- fitting into jeans that don’t fit you any more
No matter what your goal is, take action and do something about it!
Picture yourself a year from now…
How do you want to look and feel?
Do you want to be in the exact same position, saying ‘I’ll do it another time’?
If you’ve found yourself saying this one too many times, now is the time to make that change🤝

A few things you have to realise when you start with a pt/coach❗️
We aren’t fully responsible for the effort that you decide to put into the process...
Of course we’re there to push and guide you, but we can’t help you if you aren’t helping yourself.
- Missing training/cardio sessions
- Constantly over eating and not sticking to the plan
- Not sleeping enough
All of these things ultimately come down to you🤷♂️
But what we can do is make the process easier, giving you a plan that is tailored to your lifestyle and goals
Whilst making sure you’re enjoying it and not miserable 24/7😬
And also giving you the knowledge to continue to make progress for the rest of your life🤝
Your attitude and commitment is what will determine the result that you get...
Put the work in long term and reap the rewards🙌

If you’re someone that’s currently going to the gym multiple times a week…
But you aren’t seeing progress, ask yourself ‘what am I doing well?’ and ‘what can I improve?’
And be completely honest with yourself.
Are you active enough?
Are you eating the right amount?
Are you training properly and seeing progress with your strength?
You need clarity on what you need to do to progress.
And accountability to keep you on track.
There’s no point wasting your time, chopping and changing your training and diet every single week.
