Another fantastic session with Ann-Marie from Seniam, this time thinking about how we can best support our children with sensory needs.

On Tuesday I just wrapped up the final session of my Inclusion Programme with the wonderful staff at Sunnylands Nursery Carrickfergus.
Honestly? This was one of those commitments I looked forward to every single time. Session after session, I was reminded why I love this work because of teams like this.
Such a down-to-earth, hardworking, no-nonsense group of people. No pretence, just pure dedication. Every single person showed up ready to learn, ready to reflect, and most importantly ready to show up for every little person in their care.
It's been an absolute privilege to facilitate for you. Your consistency, your care, and your commitment.
Keep doing what you do. The children at Sunnylands are so lucky to have you in their corner.

Another great staff development afternoon with the fabulous Ann-Marie from Autism Solutions NI. We are really enjoying our sessions as we learn more about how to support our neurodiverse children.

We had so much fun on Friday with Big Bad Bass! We learnt about different instruments including the double bass and we created different types of music to fit in with our story telling. The children were excellent and listened so well. The adults had just as much fun 😁. A very enjoyable morning for all 🥁🎻🎵

Admissions criteria for applications to Pre-school and Primary One for September 2026 are now live on our website.

It is important that you read the published admissions criteria for each of the Pre-school settings or Primary schools you wish to list on your application.

Applications open on EA Connect at 12 noon on 7 January 2026 for Pre-school and Primary One, and we recommend you list at least four pre-school settings or primary schools in your order of preference .

A big thank you to Central Integrated Primary School for inviting us for a Christmas themed Stay and Play on Friday. Our grown ups joined us and together we decorated biscuits, played, made Christmas cards and danced. So much fun!
