We are delighted to share that Beenham Primary School has been awarded the Music Mark of Recognition by Berkshire Music Trust!

This acknowledgement celebrates our dedication to strengthening and improving music education across the school. By accepting the Music Mark, we proudly commit to:

• Advocating for the importance of music in our curriculum and the creative life of our school
• Providing an equitable, diverse and inclusive music education for every young person
• Welcoming opportunities to broaden our musical horizons by working with providers in our community and beyond

At Beenham, we want every child to discover what inspires them, and it’s wonderful to see so many pupils taking part in weekly extra‑curricular music lessons. From first notes to confident performances, our children are embracing music with joy and pride.

We’re incredibly proud of this recognition and excited for all the musical adventures still to come! 🎵✨

🌟 Happy National TA Day! 🌟
Today we’re celebrating our amazing Teaching Assistants - the heart of our classrooms and the glue of our school. Their care, love and dedication shine through in everything they do and we’d be truly lost without them.

Thank you for making Beenham brighter every single day 💛

This week Tundra Class marked the third and final session of their workshops with Sulham Estate.

The children revisited the trees they monitored during their previous visit before working collaboratively to design ideas for how an unused green space could be developed to support local ecosystems and increase biodiversity.

It was fantastic to see them thinking so creatively about caring for the natural environment.

This week the whole school enjoyed a fantastic trip to Marwell Zoo, where the children were able to apply and recall their prior learning about biodiversity, habitats and different animal species.

It was wonderful to see them making links between what they have learnt in class and what they observed throughout the day.
