Today we’ve been very busy tidying up with our litter pickers!🚮

On our walk last week, we noticed the alley beside Newdigate School was covered in litter, so today we went back to sort it out, armed with litter pickers and a big bin bag!

We had such a great time working together to collect all the rubbish, and we’re really proud of the difference we’ve made.😁🚮

At Skamps, we are passionate about nurturing children’s learning, development and wellbeing. We pride ourselves on our supportive, close‑knit team and would love to welcome a kind, reliable and dedicated person to work with children aged 0–4.

What we offer:

• 16–30 hours per week
• Term‑time only working pattern
• Flexible approach – we can offer working hours around your schedule.
• Potential for overtime or occasional holiday cover if you’re available

What we’re looking for:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years or extensive experience in a childcare setting.
• Confidence working with children from birth to four years old
• A caring, hardworking nature and great team spirit

We had a great time speaking to the officers today! We had lots of fun sitting in the police car, watching the lights and hearing the sirens! All parents can check the Ovivio app to access photos from the visit. Thankyou to the officers for coming to see us today🚨
