What a fantastic Sports Day we had in Nursery!🏆

Our children had so much fun taking part in a variety of games designed to develop their gross motor skills and coordination. It was wonderful to welcome our parents, who joined in the fun, cheered on their little ones, and made the day even more special. Well done little sports superstars! ⭐

Yesterday a group of our brilliant students took part in the North East Learning Trust Athletics Festival at Gateshead International Stadium! 🤩

Team Meadowdale were up on the podium many times and came away with a huge amount of medals individually. As an overall team they ranked in 2nd place on the primary school leaderboard - wow!

We are so proud of everyone's performance, especially in the blazing sun. It was a great day, and wonderful to see the group making lasting memories. ⭐

Our Year 5 pupils had a wonderful time at the Everyone's Cycling event on Friday, where they got to try out a range of bikes, go karts and scooters.🚲

Our Year 4 children have been participating in some brilliant STEM sessions recently, as well as enjoying some rugby workshops from the Newcastle Red Bulls Foundations! 🤩

In Reception this week, tour Reception Puffins enjoyed planting bulbs and taking their games skills outside in PE, in preparation for our sports day next month.

The children were also very excited about the opening of our fish and chip shop role play area which is helping them to showcase the brilliant progress they have all made with their communication and language this year.👏

Last week, our Year 5 and 6 pupils competed against teams from across the local area in a tournament refereed by Newcastle United Foundation.

A huge congratulations to our brilliant Year 5 team, who kept their nerve to win the tournament in a sudden-death penalty shoot out. 🏆👏

Thank you to our local police force for organising a great competition for our community!
