Rowan Class explored two of the inspirations behind ‘The Hidden World’ - this year’s Festival of the Arts theme. Maria Sibylla Merian and Ernst Haeckel were scientists and artist who created detailed illustrations of the natural world. Rowan class used their illustrations and oil pastels to create colourful monotype print artworks.
