A stiffer, more responsive ankle can help reduce ground contact time and improve energy transfer during sprinting.
• Responsiveness & reactive ability – Developing the neuromuscular system to react faster and produce force more effectively. Sprinting is a series of rapid ground contacts, so training your body to respond efficiently is key.
• Running mechanics – Better mechanics don’t automatically make you faster, but they help you apply force more effectively, improve efficiency, and maximise your top-end speed potential.
• VO₂ conditioning – Finishing with aerobic work to build the engine. A stronger aerobic system supports recovery between high-intensity efforts, allowing for greater training quality and repeatability.
