π National Thank a Teacher Day - Wednesday 17th June π
We are celebrating teachers and all staff today at Lincroft Academy on National Thank a Teacher Day. In a fun twist to the CARE Cards that staff award students, students have been writing CARE cards for members of staff that will be handed out at the end of the week.
π£οΈ If you would like to send a Thank You message to a member of staff, please do so via this form here by 19 June and we will ensure your message gets to the right person. We often get positive messages for staff via our parents evening feedback forms too, which do get shared with the intended recipient.

πβ¨ Eco-Council in Action! β¨π
Ten of our Eco-Councillors attended the Meridian Environment Day at Weldon Village Academy on Friday 5th June with students from all Eco-Councils across the Trust. They took part with great enthusiasm, threw themselves into every activity, asked thoughtful questions, and spoke confidently in front of different groups (some rather large! π). We are so proud of them! π
Our Eco-Council already has lots of exciting ideas to improve sustainability and canβt wait to start putting them into action π
The Eco-Council currently has 34 students from Years 7β10, and we would love more members to join us! If you are interested, please contact Mrs Buckley-Theed π

π¬ Earlier today we organised a one-to-one mock interview with a business partner for all our Year 10 students. This provided students with an opportunity to improve their interview skills ahead of Sixth Form, College or apprenticeship applications during Year 11.
Students were very grateful for this opportunity to practise answering interview questions, reflecting on their skills and achievements. They were complimented by our visitors on how well prepared they were, how polite they were and how enthusiastically they approached it. All students received really useful feedback from their interviewer to help them in future interviews.
βοΈ We were very grateful to all members of our school community who volunteered their time and expertise to help support this event. We could not have done it without you. Thank you!
