Over the next few days the weather will be extremely hot. Therefore, all children are able to come to school wearing SFOA PE kit, instead of their usual school uniform. We recommend that everyone wears shorts and the school PE top. Please make sure all children have a sun hat with them in school, and that sun cream has been applied before the beginning of the school day. 🌞🧢

Our Year 2 children enjoyed a fantastic DT Day as part of their Monarchs topic, creating a selection of sweet and savoury pies fit for a medieval banquet! The feast was inspired by the celebrations for King Henry VIII’s wedding, and the children worked brilliantly to design, prepare and bake their delicious creations. They had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed tasting their pies at the end of the day!

We are delighted to welcome those who have been offered a place at our school from September 2026. An email from Mrs Otter has been sent to families today and we are looking forward to meeting you all very soon!

Children who attend St Francis of Assisi get to experience our dedicated Early Years Zone with outdoor learning spaces and newly renovated indoor areas to support their development including caring for our school guinea pigs, Paul and Ron.
