🌿 Monkey Madness on the Move!
As part of Reception's current topic 'Monkey Madness', the children enjoyed a brilliant day out at on Thursday.
They spent the day spotting a wide Variety of land and water animals, listened to an engaging talk about all about exotic birds and even embarked on a fun train ride around the grounds.
Both staff and children had a great time exploring, learning and sharing lots of excitement! 🦜🦭🦒

This mornings Walking Bus was a fun start to the day as children and staff gathered at Bedford Park before making their way to school together.
Taking part in the Walking Bus supports our schools Eco objectives by encouraging families to choose walking where possible. 🚶♀️
It also sets us up for ongoing preparations for Healthy Heart Week, beginning on 29th June, as we focus on keeping active and looking after our physical health! 🌍

This week, our pupils participated in a fantastic friendly tennis match alongside Year 3 pupils from Bedford Girls' School and Bedford School at Gordon Fields. 🌟
With 84 enthusiastic players and Wimbledon fast approaching the children were full of inspiration, showcasing their impressive skills, excellent sportsmanship and a real love for tennis.

🎨Pilgrims Summer Art Exhibition
Our Summer Art Exhibition this year is a wonderful celebration of Sir David Attenborough and the natural world.
From our Little Toddlers through to Year 2, each class explored a range of mediums and materials, creating beautiful pieces of art work, inpsired by nature and the environment around us.
A huge well done to all our young artists. We'd like to think Sir David would enjoy our artwork too!

Assist with setting up and clearing away after lunch
Supervise children during meal time
Support safe. Happy and active playtimes
Help lead simple games and activities
Ensure the welfare, health and safety of all children in your care

Pilgrims Big Breaktime🌟
We had such a brilliant afternoon last Friday at our whole-school NSPCC Big Breaktime. The Big Breaktime is a wonderful opportunity for children to meet staff from their new year groups and mix with pupils across the school, helping to build confidence and relationships. Teachers, TA's, Early Years Staff, office staff and specialist teachers all joined in for an afternoon of fun creative activities and teamwork. 🏫
