Thank you for such a lovely recommendation Tamzin Hunt π
"I am so grateful to have found Amy to care for my daughter, she has been attending Woodlands Childminding since the beggining of this year, and I am so pleased I came across this setting.
It is our first experience in a childcare setting, but Amy was able to make the change as smooth as possible for my daughter, she was settled within the first week or two, despite it being a massive change. My daughter is now 18 months, and loves going to Woodlands, she walks down the driveway in the morning with a smile on her face and always comes out happy.
The children go out most days on lovely adventures, to the farm, zoo, enjoying local parks and much more. Amy has a beautiful garden which the children are able to play in, and the whole environment is amazing.
I really am so grateful to Amy at Woodlandβs Childminding for the past few months, she has helped my daughter in so many ways, and she loves her days with Amy."

My house is in a lovely countryside setting surrounded by fields, which is perfect for learning about nature and our natural surroundings.
I am a Ofsted registered childminder and live on Wood End Lane, Kempston Rural, which is situated 2 minutes from the Bedford Bypass and 10 minutes walk from the new Kempston Rural Lower School. I have a dedicated playroom, large secure garden. My garden has a large vegetable patch in that each child will be able to help cultivate and grow their own vegetables and flowers. I aim to provide children

It's Graduation Day!! π¨βππ©π½βπ
It's that time of year again, where we say farewell to our 'big' kids as they move onto their next adventures.
This year we celebrated with Eva's Early Years , Little Seedlings Childminding and Little Poppets
There were lots of activities and of course, the favourite thing ever....a huge bouncy castle.
Every year, as a special treat, we get the kids a McDonalds and oh my goodness, not a crumb was left π€£

We love visiting the animals at Woburn Safari Park. A monkey sitting on our car and alfresco lunch were some of our favourite moments this time.

Our morning at the Forest Centre was full of exciting outdoor learning and exploration. The children loved running through the newly sprouted willow tunnel, playing hide-and-seek and enjoying imaginative play with their friends.
During a shaded story time, we shared a book about plants and flowers before exploring the sensory garden. The children used their senses to smell daisies and lavender, deciding that lavender was their favourite. We also discovered tiny fish and pond skaters in the wildlife pond, encouraging curiosity about the natural world.
The beautiful meadow provided the perfect space for energetic play as the children ran with rainbow streamers in the wind and enthusiastically took part in a fun race. We finished our visit at the park, where the children enjoyed climbing, swinging, hiding and exploring the equipment.
These experiences supported the children's physical development through running, climbing and balancing, while also promoting communication and language during story time and conversations about nature. Exploring the sensory garden and wildlife encouraged understanding of the world, curiosity and observation skills. Cooperative games and imaginative play helped develop social skills, confidence and friendships, while spending time outdoors supported their wellbeing and fostered a love of nature.

Some exciting new visitors have made our wildlife pond and garden their home! Weβve spotted a mummy pheasant with her babies, as well as something a little different β a grass snake! The children have enjoyed observing our new wildlife and learning about the animals that share our outdoor space.
