😊 😔 Emotions 😢 😠

There are so many emotions that we can feel, even as adults sometimes we can struggle to fully understand why we are feeling a certain way. It is so important to help little ones explore their emotions and help them to understand why they may feel a certain way.

The older ones (2 year olds) have been enjoying copying different emotions into the mirror in our garden - we've had a lot of giggles! The 1 year olds have been enjoying looking at their reflections 😀

We have had an absolutely blast in our garden today. We were joined by our friends from Little Poppets, Eva's Early Years and Little Seedlings Childminding

We did some pond dipping and caught some tadpoles and newts. We took turns visiting the pond and ensured the children listenedabout how to be safe beside the water, holding the newts and watching the very wiggly tadpoles.

We had toad/frogs themes water play, bounced, ran about, balanced, swung, slid and had the best time learning while we play.

Alfresco dining has commenced in this beautiful sunshine 🌞

We did some pond dipping in our pond here at Woodlands. We caught 6 smooth newts and learnt how to handle them with care. We noticed they had bright orange spotted tummies, some were very big and some very small.

We love our regular day trips to Woburn Safari Park - what is there not to love? Animals, bouncy castles, a park and plenty of learning experiences.

The best lamb experience ever. We had the best cuddles with some beautiful lambs (wish I coyld have snuck one in the buggy to take home! 🫣🤣) We also got to feed them their milk 😍

We always start with an alfresco snack and book then off we go....!
