A very warm welcome to the 16 students joining STM from China as part of a three-week cultural exchange programme led by the St Neots English Centre.
Our visitors have had a fantastic first day, working collaboratively on an exciting STEM project and getting to know their new surroundings. Tomorrow, they will begin integrating into the wider school timetable, giving them the opportunity to experience life at STM while sharing their own culture and perspectives with our community.
We are delighted to host this international exchange and look forward to the friendships, experiences and learning opportunities that the coming weeks will bring. We hope you enjoy your time with us and make many wonderful memories along the way!

The Goldfish Boy by Lisa Thompson
This is a moving and suspenseful mystery that combines a gripping missing-person investigation with a sensitive portrayal of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Lisa Thompson creates an authentic and sympathetic main character in Matthew, whose struggles feel real and relatable. The mystery keeps readers engaged while the story explores friendship, courage, guilt, and recovery. It's an emotional, thoughtful read that balances tension and heart exceptionally well.
