Established in 1891, the OB Club is Bedford School's Old Boys club with a vibrant community of 9,000.

Starting life as a networking club for former students of Bedford School, today the Club continues to provide an invaluable link between generations of fellow Old Bedfordians and with the School, through an annual programme of social, sporting and networking events and reunions.

We’re gearing up for Henley Royal Regatta next week, and excitement is building!

This year we have a record‑breaking 30 OBs taking part - an incredible achievement. If you’re heading to the riverbanks, make sure to cheer them on.

And don’t forget: our Annual Pimm’s Reception will take place in Butler’s Field on Tuesday. Let us know if you’ll be joining the 200+ guests already signed up - it’s shaping up to be a fantastic gathering.

We hope you’re keeping cool on this hot and sunny day! Just a reminder that the OB office is the best place to be (especially) on a day like this- we’re opposite the Bell Room and it’s wonderfully cool in this part of the building!
The kettle is always on, so why not pop in for a visit? [email protected]

DVPs Turn 100 Today!
Today marks a very special milestone for the Old Bedfordian Club. Exactly 100 years ago, on this day, the creation of District Vice Presidents was formally approved.
While browsing the original handwritten volume of The Minutes of Meetings of the Old Bedfordian Club Committee, it was wonderful to uncover this historic moment -later announced in The Ousel in May 1926.
A century on, District Vice Presidents remain a vital part of our community, supporting Old Bedfordians both in the UK and across the world. To all of our DVPs, past and present, thank you for your continued commitment and support.
