☀️🌼 What a Wonderful Summer Term! 🌼☀️
As another fantastic summer term comes to an end, we would like to look back on some of the wonderful experiences our children have enjoyed.
This term, we celebrated Earth Day by learning how to care for our planet, explored the importance of bees during World Bee Day, and had an amazing trip to Mead Open Farm, where the children loved meeting the animals and exploring the farm.
We enjoyed celebrating Father's Day with our special stay-and-play session and were delighted to take part in the Bedford Borough Teddy's Day Picnic, making lovely memories together.
Our children enjoyed learning about flowers and plants, exploring how they grow, and had the opportunity to plant their own flowers and care for them. We also explored the importance of healthy eating, learning about different foods and making healthy choices.
The children were fascinated by observing the life cycle of butterflies, watching caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies before releasing them into the garden. We also learned about the frog life cycle, discovering how tadpoles grow and change.
During the warmer weather and heatwaves, the children kept cool while having lots of fun with water play, providing plenty of opportunities for exploration, teamwork and laughter.
It has been a term filled with curiosity, creativity, friendship and smiles, with so many opportunities for learning and discovery. We are incredibly proud of everything the children have achieved.
Thank you to all of our families for your continued support throughout the year. We wish you all a safe, relaxing and enjoyable summer holiday, and we look forward to welcoming our returning families back in September and meeting all of our new children joining us.
