We are the Parent Teacher Association for Great Denham Primary School. 🏫

Our purpose is to build memorable moments into everyday School life for the Children to enjoy & also to fundraise for new equipment to enrich the Pupils experience 🖍️✂️📖🚍✏️📚🛝 We support the school in building memorable and exciting moments into school life to enrich students’ lives. We believe in creating a welcoming community for parents and carers to engage more actively with the school – whether that’s through participating in any of our events or fundraising activities, or volunteering your time a part of the committee. All families are welcome to join in whilst they have a child attending the school. The Friends of Great Denham is run by a committee of volunteers drawn from the parents, carers, and staff within the school. We currently have a group of around 40 volunteers to help by donating either their time or skills throughout the year – and more are always welcome to join!

💙 Join the GDPS PTA Team! 💙
Our AGM is coming up and we’re hoping to expand the committee — more hands, more ideas, more fun!

Many of the current committee are looking to stay in their roles but
we’re looking for:

💷 A Deputy Treasurer
We’re looking for a Deputy Treasurer to support our PTA Treasurer with the day-to-day banking, including making payments and keeping the relevant supporting paperwork organised.

📝 A Secretary to help keep us organised
Taking minutes, preparing agendas and documents

📣 A communications superstar
Helping share updates on SM, promote events, and celebrate what’s happening across our school community.

🎨 A creative legend
Anyone who enjoys crafting, design, or adding a bit of sparkle — no professional experience needed, just enthusiasm and creativity!

🤝 Plus general committee members who can help when they can with all the above and Ad hoc tasks

If you’d like to be part of something brilliant for our school community, drop us a message 🥰

Thank you to everyone who came to our Stall yesterday at the Great Denham Village Fete. 🎈❤️ Every item in the Kids and Adults Tombola was cleared out and our little Shop was super popular too. 😃 Was lovely to see everyone and my official last ever time helping out for the School. 💕 Happy Bank holiday and good luck to everyone for the start of the School run again this week. 😅 Thank you to our helpers who donated their time. Take care from Suzy and good luck to the rest of the PTA for the coming year ahead 💖 Great Denham Primary School Great Denham Parish Council

We can’t wait to hold a stall at the Great Denham Village Fete TOMORROW 😃🎈 There are going to be so many fun things to do there. It will be a great day starting at 12pm. We will be there with a kids toy tombola and an adults one as well as adults lucky dip. Then the kids have a selection of toys, gadgets, balloons and fidgets to purchase including glow in the dark bracelets and festival floral headbands which are always a popular choice to wear at things like this. 🌺 We will see you there. 💕 Great Denham Primary School Great Denham Parish Council
