It’s the end of an era…Signing Sam and I taught our last Signing class together yesterday!
I have thoroughly loved teaching signing for the last 7 years and have many fond memories. In September I start my new role as Early Years Lead and will, sadly, no longer be part of The Signing Company. We have been fortunate enough to teach lots of babies, adults, families, school children, practitioners and even elves to sign. Pesky Covid didn’t even stop us, as we managed to teach adults and children to sign various songs, including Don’t Stop Me Now, This Is Me and All I Want For Christmas, using our old pal, Zoom.
Signing is a skill that I’m so grateful to have learnt and will continue to teach children…and randoms on the dance floor, for many years!

Signing Sam and I had a super time at Ramsey Manor Lower School RMLS delivering the third signing workshop today.
The staff were very enthusiastic to learn how to bring signing into their school!

Signing Sam and I had a super afternoon today at Acorn’s Annual Staff Conference.
We taught the staff how to implement Signing into their nurseries, how to finger spell the alphabet, weather signs, families, how to sign stories and more!

I had a super afternoon at Harlington Village Pre School & Wrap Around Care today. I joined them for their inset today to complete our second workshop.

Signing Sam and I were so excited to be back at Woodentops this morning. It was so lovely to see all the children and adults signing, singing and smiling! We’re looking forward to seeing you next week already!
