Communication by lipreading - who uses lipreading, what does it involve, how can we help?
Joanna will also give a clear, friendly overview of different types of hearing loss and share practical, everyday tips on being Deaf Aware. It’s a great chance to understand hearing loss better and pick up simple ways to support others.

As one chapter closes, another begins! 💚

This term we say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to Larissa Clarke for all the enthusiasm, encouragement and care she has brought to our movement classes over the years. We wish her every success and happiness for the future.

We're also delighted to welcome Neil Frankel to Rothsay Education Centre. Founder of The Movement Project, Neil brings a wealth of experience and an engaging approach to movement, helping people improve their strength, balance, flexibility and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Neil will be leading both our Move Well. Live Fully and Seated Move Well. Live Fully classes from 17th September, held at Priory Methodist Church.

Please join us in thanking Larissa for everything she's done and in giving Neil a very warm Rothsay welcome!

🌿Ramblers Summer Evening Walk – Thursday 30th July

If you fancy a pleasant evening walk in friendly company, do come along. Meet at the Kings Arms, 24 St Mary's Street, Bedford, MK42 0AS at 6pm ready for at 6.15pm. No booking or fee is required.

The Rothsay Ramblers is a friendly and sociable walking group whose aim is to enjoy the countryside around Bedford. We offer a programme of Monday morning walks throughout the year, with routes of approximately 3, 4 or 5 miles, plus the occasional longer walk. Walks usually start and finish at a pub, café, garden centre or village hall where refreshments and facilities are often available. Joining costs £3 for REC members. Find out more online.
