Setup in 2015 under the informal ‘Question Time Bedford’ title the group updated its name to #BedfordDebates in May 2017. We only facilitate respectful debate.
The revised name reflects a future ambition to participate in other national and local debates and elections.
#BedfordDebates was established by a group of childhood friends who have grown up together and lived in the Bedford area. The group holds hustings events with the aim of educating and encouraging voters to exercise their democratic rights, by directly engaging candidates seeking elected o
