In Art, Year 4 children thoroughly enjoyed completing their beautiful mosaics inspired by Byzantine art, demonstrating great creativity and care!

Before half-term, EYFS had an amazing time celebrating Coronation Day with History Off the Page! From decorating coronation mugs to crafting clay pots and medals, the children were fully immersed in the spirit of the day.They even tried writing with quills and explored real artifacts from Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation — including cameras and TVs from the 1950s. A brilliant blend of creativity, history, and fun!

A huge well done to Thomas for sharing his fantastic achievement outside of school. Thomas recently caught an incredible 26lb carp, which is the largest fish in the lake and a new personal best!

Thomas showed great patience, skill and dedication to achieve this, and it is wonderful to see him pursuing his passion for fishing alongside his love of football. It was also great to hear how responsibly this is done, with all fish carefully returned to the water.

Year 5 have been getting creative with screen printing, experimenting with colour and pattern. Their work is looking fantastic!

A huge well done to Year 6 for completing their SATs. They enjoyed a fun afternoon off timetable with a visit from the ice‑cream van — a big thank you to the PTA for funding this treat!

In Year 5, a group of pupils represented the school at a sports competition, taking part in a range of activities including hockey, basketball, bowls, dodgeball, volleyball and cricket. The children had a fantastic time and demonstrated our school values throughout.

Last week Milne enjoyed their treat afternoon for having the best attendance for the entirety of last term. Well done Milne!
